The Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum has released its [Third Dinosaur Fossil Excavation Survey 2007 Report].
In it, they report the discovery of numerous theropod fossils from the Early Cretaceous (about 120 million years ago) strata of the Tedori Group in Fukui Prefecture.

It is believed to be a small theropod - a carnivorous dinosaur, and "about 30 items, including a right foot claw, pelvic bones, and carapace fossils," were found clustered in two 50-centimeter-square rocks.
The claw was 3.5 cm long and 0.6 cm wide.
From 1989 to 1999, fossils of the small theropod Fukuiraptor were excavated from the same stratum. They state that "the theropod fossils announced this time may be a juvenile (young) Fukuiraptor or a new species."
