"Speedy" Herbivorous Dinosaur Discovered in Canada

A fast, small herbivorous dinosaur has been discovered in Late Cretaceous strata (about 77 million years ago) in Alberta, Canada.
It is estimated to be about 1.6 meters long and weigh 16 kg.
Caleb Marshall Brown, David C. Evans, and others from the Royal Tyrrell Museum have described it in their paper "New Data on the Diversity and Abundance of Small-Bodied Ornithopods (Dinosauria, Ornithischia) from the Belly River Group (Campanian) of Alberta."

By examining the tibia and fibula of the hind leg and comparing them with similar dinosaurs, it was inferred that this was a "dinosaur that could run fast." It is thought that "it adapted to escape from carnivorous dinosaurs and other threats by using its speed while balancing with its tail."
It was named "Albertadromeus," meaning "Alberta runner."
