Research has been published stating that "Protoceratops raised their young in a nest."

A Protoceratops nest was found in a 75-million-year-old stratum in Mongolia. The nest, about 70 cm wide, contained the fossils of 15 baby Protoceratops.
What is remarkable about this fossil is that the 15 babies had grown to be about one year old.

In other words, "at least until they were all one year old, the 15 young were raised in the same nest."
This has been published as evidence that Protoceratops raised their young.

Many of the baby Protoceratops in this nest are said to be facing the same direction. This may be a clue to the cause of death, but it is not well understood.
