Large Carnivorous Dinosaur with Feathers - China

A fossil of a large, bird-like dinosaur has been discovered in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China. It is a Late Cretaceous theropod, estimated to be about 8 meters long.

It is thought to have had "no teeth, a beak, long forelimbs, and feathers." This dinosaur has been named Erliansaurus.
It will be an important resource for understanding the process of evolution into birds.
